Life Coaches for Teens, Young Adults & Parents

Meet Erin Verdis & Chris Adang, Founders of Extraordinary Purpose

We’re Parents, Too. And This Work Is Personal.

We’re Erin and Chris, parents of four and experienced life coaches for teens, young adults, and parents.

We know what it’s like to watch someone you love struggle with confidence, motivation, belonging, or uncertainty about their future, and to wonder how to help without pushing too hard.

Those experiences helped shape the Extraordinary Purpose Framework, the identity-first coaching approach we’ve used to help more than 1,000 teens, young adults, parents, and families discover who they are, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful direction.

We believe lasting change starts below the surface, with identity, connection, purpose, and self-belief.

That’s why we created Extraordinary Purpose.

A Unique Perspective From Both Sides

Every day, we talk with teens, young adults, and parents about what’s really happening beneath the surface.

We hear what young people are struggling with, searching for, and sometimes afraid to say out loud. And we hear parents wondering how to help, when to step in, and when to let go.

As coaches and parents ourselves, we understand both sides: the young person trying to discover who they are and the parent trying to support them while staying connected.

That perspective shapes everything we do, helping families strengthen what matters most: identity, confidence, connection, purpose, and self-leadership.

Why We Started Extraordinary Purpose

Extraordinary Purpose began with a question we couldn't stop asking ourselves as parents:

Why are so many good kids struggling to believe in themselves?

Everywhere we looked, we saw loving parents doing everything they could. They were having hard conversations, setting boundaries, encouraging their children, and desperately wanting to help.

But too many teens and young adults were still feeling anxious, disconnected, unmotivated, or unsure of who they were.

The more we experienced it in our own family and the more families we coached, the more one thing became clear:

This season of life doesn't call for more control.

It calls for deeper connection, intentional leadership, and helping young people discover the confidence and purpose that already exist within them.

That's why we created Extraordinary Purpose.

Meet Erin & Chris

We’d love to introduce ourselves and give you a little more of a feel for who we are, how we work, and what we believe.

In this short video, we share what raising our own teens and young adults has taught us, what we’ve learned from the parents and young people we talk with every day, and why we believe lasting change starts with understanding who you are and what matters most.

We hope it helps you get to know us a little better.

What Makes Extraordinary Purpose Different

We don’t start by trying to fix the problem. We start by understanding the person.

After years of coaching and thousands of conversations with teens, young adults, and parents, we’ve learned that what you see on the surface often isn’t the real issue.

Low motivation. Screens. Procrastination. Lack of confidence. Feeling lost.

Underneath are often bigger questions: Who am I? What matters to me? Where am I going?

That’s why we start with identity first.

Our Extraordinary Purpose Framework helps young people:

Discover Who You Are
Build self-awareness, confidence, and identity.

Create Your Direction
Explore what matters, what’s possible, and where you want to go.

Turn Potential Into Progress
Build the habits, ownership, and skills to move forward.

But no two people are the same. We listen first, meet each person where they are, and help them discover their own answers.

Because when you know who you are, it becomes much easier to decide where you’re going and take action to get there.

The Right Coach Can Make All the Difference

Because feeling understood changes what we’re willing to share.

Young men and young women often navigate different pressures around identity, confidence, relationships, and their future. Moms and dads can experience this stage differently, too.

That’s why we created a two-coach model built around connection.

Erin primarily coaches young women and moms, helping them build self-trust, confidence, stronger relationships, and purpose.

Chris primarily coaches young men and dads, helping them build confidence, ownership, direction, and a stronger sense of who they want to become.

We bring different perspectives, but share the same Extraordinary Purpose Framework and identity-first philosophy.

And because we work with both young people and parents, we understand the bigger picture: when one person grows, relationships can change. When families grow together, even more becomes possible.

Meet Erin Verdis

Life Coach for Young Women, College Students & Moms

Helping women discover who they are, believe in themselves, and become confident, empowered versions of themselves.

For more than 15 years, Erin has specialized in coaching women, helping hundreds build confidence, trust themselves, and create lives that feel genuinely their own.

Her passion for this work started long before she became a coach.

At 18, Erin left home to become an international fashion model. It was an incredible experience, but it also showed her how easy it is to measure your worth by how you look, what you achieve, or what other people think of you.

It left her with a question that has shaped her life and work ever since:

Who are you when you stop letting the outside world define you?

Erin went on to earn a degree in Psychology, become a Tony Robbins Certified Coach, and dedicate her career to helping women answer that question for themselves.

Today, as a coach and mom to River and Skylar, that work means even more.

Erin brings warmth, energy, and deep belief in the women she coaches. She creates a space where they feel safe enough to be honest and challenged enough to grow, helping them see strengths and possibilities in themselves they may have stopped seeing.

Erin Helps Women

What Erin Believes

Women don’t need someone else telling them who they should be.

They need the space to discover who they are, trust their own voice, and believe in what they’re capable of.

That’s what Erin has devoted more than 15 years to helping women do.

Know who you are. Trust yourself. Create a life that feels like yours.

Meet Chris Adang

Life Coach for Young Men, College Students & Dads

Helping young men discover who they are, find their direction, and become confident, capable men who lead their own lives.

Chris has spent much of his career helping people see more in themselves and turn their potential into action.

Before coaching, he built a career in marketing, leadership, and people development, recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring hundreds of young professionals as they found their footing in work and life.

But some of his most important lessons have come from being Ben and William’s dad.

Chris learned that the harder we try to pull answers out of our kids, the more they can pull away. So he started doing something different:

Finding a way into their world.

Listen first. Get curious. Understand what matters to them. Connect before trying to change.

That experience transformed the way Chris parented and became central to the way he coaches.

Today, Chris is a Professional Certified Coach and ACT Matrix Certified practitioner known for his ability to connect with young men and dads and bring out the best in them. His coaching is passionate, motivational, honest, and deeply personal. He knows when to listen, when to challenge, and how to help someone see possibilities in themselves they may not see yet.

What Chris Believes

Young men don’t need another person telling them what to do with their lives.

They need someone willing to understand their world, believe in them, challenge them, and help them discover their own answers.

Because the goal isn’t simply better grades, more motivation, or the right career.

It’s knowing who you are, taking ownership of your life, and becoming a man you’re proud to be. .

We’d Be Honored to Walk Alongside Your Family

Because trusting someone to support your child is a big decision.

We understand how deeply you love your child, how hard it can be to watch them struggle, and how much you want to help without pushing too hard or losing connection along the way.

We also understand what it means to invite someone into their world.

We don’t take that trust lightly.

When you work with us, you’ll find two people who genuinely care about your family. We’ll listen without judgment, celebrate the wins, navigate the hard moments with you, and always look for the potential underneath the struggle.

Our hope is that your teen or young adult begins to believe in themselves, discover who they are, and feel excited about where they’re going.

That you feel more confident as a parent.
That your relationships grow stronger.
And that your family moves forward with more connection, confidence, and hope.

Ultimately, our goal is simple:

Your family leaves Extraordinary Purpose stronger than when you found us.

If that’s what you’re looking for, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule a Free Discovery Call and let’s talk about where your family is today, where you hope to be, and how we might help you get there.
