Gratitude for all of the amazing parents!

Niá:wen! This means Thank You in the Mohawk Language. Since I am half Native American we don’t celebrate “Thanksgiving” in the traditional sense in our family, however we do celebrate gratitude, and this is a wonderful time of year to reflect on all we are grateful for. And we are SO very grateful for all of you!
For all the parents in our community we want to acknowledge you, honor you, and thank you for choosing to be a part of our Extraordinary Purpose Tribe! Chris and I work closely with so many incredible young adults, coaching them and helping them figure out who they are, what they love, and how they can contribute their purpose to the world. Yet we are also parents ourselves and struggle with our own teens at times, questioning our parenting, agonizing over our decisions, feeling helpless, and doing our best to be examples of what’s possible in this life. Parenting is the most beautiful, life transforming, vulnerable, and selfless act of love we’ll ever give. It can also make us seriously question our mental health…lol!! But, we wouldn’t change it for the world.
So, we want to express our gratitude, for blessing the Universe with your amazing children. For your hard work, sleepless nights, deep vulnerability, endless spending, always questioning your decisions, selflessness, and at the end of the day, just unconditionally loving and supporting your kids. You truly are incredible Human Beings. If we’ve coached your young adults, thank you for entrusting us to guide them along their paths, and if we haven’t yet met you and your teen, we look forward to seeing you soon:)
Have a peaceful and restful week, and take the time to reflect on all that you’re grateful for.
Niá:wen,
Erin and Chris xo
